Fractured Beginnings, Fracturing Ends

In 1948, the Malayas of two parallel universes, initially spliced apart at a moment in time when the Malacca Sultanate never fell, collide and merge. Khing—the disgraced daughter of a resistant movement leader desperate to regain her mother’s approval—throws herself into an unconventional war between her homeland and its fantastical counterpart from alternate Malaya. She is tasked with a mission to hunt down Citra, a cheeky, enigmatic enemy operative who does the Sultanate’s bidding in exchange for subsequent freedom from her uncharitable clan. As the tension between the two realities heightens and the dimension that holds their worlds threatens to fall apart, Khing and Citra each find themselves caught in a breakneck chase to bring the other down to save their own realities—only to end up falling for one another.
